What kind of volunteer work do you do at Reach?

I am a book sorting volunteer.

What is your favorite part about volunteering at Reach?

I shopped at Reach Literacy for years! After I retired, I asked about volunteering. I love discovering unique books and seeing the variety of things people enjoy reading.

What book sparked your love for reading?

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

What is a book that you think everyone should read at least once in their lifetime?

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

What is one thing you would like everyone to know about Reach?

The Reach Literacy Bookstore is a wonderful place to shop for any book lover, and every purchase supports the fantastic mission of adult literacy. Reach is helping our community by lifting people up. Literacy makes people more employable and helps them get better jobs. This is then passed on to their children, lifting them up as well.
