What kind of volunteer work do you do at Reach?

I am a volunteer in the Reach Bookstore. I have been volunteering here for over 9 years.

What is your favorite part about volunteering at Reach?

I admire the mission of REACH, and I’m happy to help. I enjoy the people and love seeing all the new books that come in.

What book sparked your love for reading?

The Bobbsey Twins by Laura Lee Hope and The Nancy Drew books by Carolyn Keene.

How has volunteering at Reach impacted your reading?

I am trying new authors and genres.  I also love getting recommendations from other readers in the bookstore; it’s such a fun way to discover new titles.

What is one thing you would like everyone to know about Reach?

The services that the organization provides to the community.
