What kind of volunteer work do you do at Reach?

I work in the bookstore, helping customers and sorting books as they are donated.

What is your favorite part about volunteering at Reach?

I love helping people find books, whether it’s introducing them to a new author or helping them rediscover an old favorite. Reach is such a great resource for finding books you’ve been looking for at a great price!

What book sparked your love for reading?

Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

If you could spend a day in any book’s setting, where would it be?

England! I love the Maisie Dobbs series by Jacqueline Winspear.

How has volunteering at Reach impacted you?

I began teaching reading skills to Sanford employees, which was a truly rewarding experience. After COVID, I started volunteering in the Reach bookstore, and I’ve loved being able to help in a different way
