At REACH Literacy, our volunteers are the driving force behind our bookstore. Katie and Jennifer volunteer frequently in the bookstore and are familiar faces to our regular patrons. Their dedication and enthusiasm create a welcoming atmosphere, and their love for books inspires everyone who walks through our doors. Why do you volunteer at REACH?/What is your favorite part about volunteering at REACH?Â
Katie:Â I want children to have books at home that are their very own, and I love giving away children's books.
Jennifer:Â It is a way to give back to the community, and I love to read.
What’s one thing you think everyone should know about REACH?Â
Katie:Â Volunteering here is fun!
Jennifer: Proceeds go to literacy programs and free children’s books.

Katie:Â Henry Huggins and The Paper Route

How has being a part of REACH Literacy impacted your reading habits?
Jennifer:Â I read more genres based on customer recommendations and looking as sorting + shelving.
